- Most software, websites, ect. support JPEGs, which probably makes it the most convenien file type.
- Saving as a JPEG compresses the image.
- Unlike the JPEG format, saving an image as a TIFF doesn't compress it.
- Saving a photoshopped image as a PSD also saves the images layers.
